Before rhinoplasty
Before the surgery, you will meet up with the doctor and both will discuss the surgery procedures and what you should do and don’t. In this meet up you will also inform the doctor of any health-related issue and if you are on medication. You can also suggest what type of nose you want if you are doing cosmetic surgery. Finally, the doctor will decide the best way of doing surgery for you.

Although the procedure is done in hospitals, you can go back the same day with some anesthesia given. The doctor will start the procedure by making an incision and raising the skin. Then all the procedures like rearranging or correcting will be done before replacing the skin. Finally, the skin will be stitched. The surgery will take a few hours and you will be given a splint to minimize swelling (wear them maximum for 10 days). You will also be given cotton gauze (can be removed after 48 hours).
